Former Ohio Audubon chief to lead MORPC green center - Business First of Columbus:

Jerry Tinianow was chosejn to headthe center, a cross-disciplinary agencty that seeks to address the region’sz energy and environmental challenges and to adopt environmentally friendly policies. Tinianow, a one-time executive director of the ’zs Ohio chapter, will run the commission’s sustainable growth, localp food, greenways, energy efficiency and air quality Tinianow also was a member of MayorMichaelk Coleman’s Green Team and chaired the ’s national Clean Air Campaign Steering Committee. With the Audubohn Society, he oversaw development of the in the Sciot o Audubon Metro Park onWhittier Peninsula.
Tinianow has been a Columbue resident for nearly 20 years and livesein Clintonville. MORPC is a voluntary association of 47 local governments and provides comprehensive planning and programming in the areaseof transportation, economic development, land use, energy environment, and housing.
