The Coyotes are in Chapter 11 bankruptcty reorganization havinglost $316 million since moving to Arizonaz from Winnipeg in 1996. A deal is in the worke to move the teamto Hamilton, “From a players’ perspective, it’s time to pull the Kelly told The (Hamilton) Kelly did not endorse a move to a specifi c market, but questioned whether the Coyotes can be financiallyt viable in Arizona. Research in Motio n CEO Jim Balsillie isofferinhg $213 million for the team and would move it from Glendalse to Hamilton.
The National Hockeyy League and city of Glendale oppose the move and want to find ownerxs that would keep the team in Coyotes owner Jerry Moyes put the team into Chapter 11in May. NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman is fightiny the sale to Balsillie saying hockey can be viable in thePhoenix
