The 24,000-square-foot building is on the East feederd road next to the Gulf just north of the Beltway 8 It will house the executiv offices of FC Holdingse and will also be home to a First CommunitytBank branch, marking the bank’s relocation of its headquarters from the suburbs to Houston. The building’s features include a system to recyclde upto 250,000 gallons of rainwater for toilets and landscapingy and an oxygen-generating roof structure that also acts as a filte to remove particulate matter from the air. The projectg is part of a major investment in the locakl market since the start ofthe year.
First Community, with assetz of $834 million and branches in 23 citiezs acrossthe state, is several bank charteres into one in order while re-establishingy its headquarters in Houston. In April, Firstt Community added two new branches, one in Friendswood in Galvestomn County and another in nearSouth Houston.
